Day 2 ~ Punchy Plaid & Tassels ~ As you probably know by now I am definitely a dress girl! This Giant Tiger frock is a fun take on the classic plaid shirt, and I love the colour combo of pink and red which makes it super feminine. This dress is the perfect weekend look, it's a great change up from the usual leggings and tunic or jeans and tee that we often wear like clockwork. Did I mention this super soft, uber cute dress is $18?! I know, it's amazing! Another styling option would be to wear this dress unbuttoned with a simple tank and leather leggings underneath for a really cool casual vibe. In the spirit of Spring I opted for a simple taupe ankle boot (sans tights) done in a faux suede. I am obsessed with the fringe trend this season so the subtle detail on either side of these booties were the perfect touch. These boots are an unbelievable $29 at GT and are also available in black, so naturally I bought both colours! I love adding a trend into my wardrobe using accessories and footwear, it's such an easy and inexpensive way to update your look every season. And we can't forget about the makeup, with a relaxed look like this I would suggest to keep it simple. I opted for SITC Lipgloss in "Burlesque" $18 and rimmed my eyes with our Waterproof Eyeliner in "Chocolate" $18.
